What's New in 2021?

What's new?
-No Bat Restrictions
-Expanded Age Divisions
-Coach Pitch replaces Machine Pitch Division
-Majors Division will play 50/70 with lead-offs

What does this mean?
-Players can use USABats or USSSA approved bats.

-The baseball age determination chart has changed.  Ages are now determined using a May 1st to April 30th calendar.  (Example: Player A is born on July 1st, 2012.  In previous years that player would be considered League Age 9 and assigned to the Minor League - Kid Pitch Division.  Using the 2021 determination, Player A is now considered league 8 and would be eligible to play Minor League - Coach Pitch.  If Player A played in the same division last year and wants to "play up", with board approval, Player A can move to Minor League - Kid Pitch.)

-The 2021 season will not have a Machine Pitch division, only Coach Pitch

-Starting in the Majors Division, the pitchers mound will be located 50ft from home plate and bases will be 70ft apart.  Bases will be "open" allowing for runners to take leads and pitchers to attempt pick-offs. The Minor League - Kid Pitch division will still use standard 46/60 dimensions
  and "closed bases (no lead-offs)".
