Our coaches are a key ingredient to offering successful and fun season for our kids. Here are some excellent resources for coaching baseball to support our coaches.

In 2023, WesMon Baseball was a partner with the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). During that time, we created and compiled information from PCA to share with coaches and parents. 

Positive Coaching Alliance Talking Points: WesMon Baseball
Each week during the season, coaches at WesMon Baseball receive PCA’s Talking Points that help emphasize character traits with their players and families. This resource is a compilation of all ten weeks worth of Talking Points for easy reference. Download the website to your mobile device (and treat it like an app!)  by saving it to your home screen.

WesMon Baseball Coach Training Document
This resource contains links to the USA Baseball Youth Manual (with information on basic first aid, coaching philosophy/code of conduct, preseason planning, team culture, parental involvement) as well as links to the USA Baseball Coaching Mobile App (simplifies practice planning with drills for coaches of all levels), and the Team Snap Baseball Drills website.
